Free tool
GBP Suspension Checker for ChatGPT and Claude
A free tool that runs inside ChatGPT and Claude. It checks a live Google Business Profile for the problems that get listings suspended, and if yours is already suspended, it works out what kind of suspension you have and builds a step-by-step reinstatement checklist.
What it does
Check a listing (audit_listing). Give it a business name and city. It looks up the live listing on Google, reads the business's own homepage, and flags:
- Business names with added marketing words, cities, or service keywords
- A listing name or phone number that doesn't match the website or legal name
- Service-area businesses showing a street address customers don't visit
- PO boxes, possible duplicate listings, and categories Google scrutinizes heavily
- Listings that can't be found at all, which can point to a hard suspension
Diagnose a suspension (triage_suspension). Paste Google's email or describe what you see. It works out whether you have a soft suspension, hard suspension, Google Account restriction, disabled profile, or a verification request, then gives you:
- The appeal steps in the order Google's process requires
- The most likely causes, ranked from your answers
- An evidence checklist showing what you have and what to get before you appeal
- The mistakes that most often get appeals denied
Both tools only read information. They never sign in to your Google account or change your listing.

Try asking
- "My Google Business Profile got suspended yesterday and it's gone from Maps. What do I do?"
- "Here's the email Google sent me: [paste it]. What does it mean and how do I appeal?"
- "Check whether Smith Plumbing in Knoxville, TN is at risk of a Google suspension."
- "My profile says my Google account is restricted. Can I just appeal the listing?"
What it can't see
- Google Account restrictions, recent edit history, and Google's internal flags aren't public. The triage tool covers these from your answers.
- A hard-suspended listing doesn't show up in Google's public data, so the listing check reports that it can't find it.
- Google rarely says exactly why a profile was suspended. Causes are ranked from what you tell it, not confirmed by Google.
- The website check reads the homepage only, and some websites block automated checks.
The checker gives general information, not a guarantee. Only Google decides whether a profile is reinstated.
Your data
The checker doesn't store your requests or results. To check a listing, it sends the business name and city to Google's Places API and loads the business's public website. Listing data comes from Google Maps. Full details are in our privacy policy.
